Institute of Financial and Development held the Meeting with New Students in B210 Conference Room, Liberal Arts Innovation Building of Nankai University on September 21^st .Professor Tian presided over the opening ceremony, and all the faculties and the students of class 2016attended the meeting.

First, Professor Tian made a speech at the meeting to express his congratulations and welcome PhD and maters’students of class 2016 on behalf of all faculties. Then, Professor Tian introduced the history, discipline system, institutional setting and academic advantages of the Institute of Finance and Development in detail. He pointed out that the Institute of Finance and Development holds the purpose of training high-level financial talent, through small and refined training path. He hoped that the new students cherish the opportunity to enter the college to take a fresh start, meet new challenges, and strive for innovation results. He put forward some points of hope for the freshmen from two aspects of behaving and scholar research: self-cultivation, high ambition, rigorous research, courage to innovate, harmonious development, the pursuit of excellence. Finally, Professor Tian expressed his welcome and best wishes to new students. At the meeting, the Teaching and research teachers and administrative faculties of our institute also gave blessings to the freshmen and put forward their learning requirements.

In this institution, the master students of class 2016 were all from famous universities in China. In the warm atmosphere of the meeting, students opened their hearts, gave bold speech, determined to cherish the learning process in the institution, and constantly strengthened their own academic and work ability, were proud to become a member of our institute. Finally, the teachers introduced their own work tasks, and exchanged ideas with students. The meeting reached a happy end.
